What are Managed IT Services?
A Managed Service Provider (MSP) is a company that will manage some or all aspects of your information technology. This could eliminate the need for an internal IT department, since an MSP is your IT department.
How does it work?
Phase 1: Needs Analysis: LTC Technology Systems will schedule a call or onsite visit to review the company’s current technology environment. Here will assess what the needs of the business are and discuss any challenges that the client is facing.
Phase 2: Proposal and Agreement: After the initial meeting LTC Technology Systems will send over a proposal that will outline the recommended services, products, and cost. We will also include additional information about our company including experience and references if requested.
Phase 3: Onboarding: Once a client decides they would like to move forward with our proposal we will begin onboarding the client. During this phase LTC Technology Systems will present the client with a project plan detailing timelines, milestones, and key deliverables. We will gather necessary documentation including network diagrams, systems configurations and access credentials. Developing a communication plan during this phase is crucial – we will determine who from the company needs regular progress updates throughout the transition.
Phase 4: Implementation: LTC Technology Systems will allocate any needed resources for the transition, including tools and personnel. During this phase we will migrate all the company’s data, applications, and systems and integrate them with the existing environment.
Phase 5: Testing and Validation: Once all the systems have been migrated and integrated, we will conduct thorough testing to ensure all systems and services are functioning properly. LTC Technology Systems will validate that we are meeting all performance metrics outline in the service level agreement for the company. Training in any new tools or processes will also take place during this phase for each team member.
Phase 6: Go-Live: Once testing is complete and LTC has verified that all systems are in proper working order, and all team members have been trained, we will go-live and establish ongoing support, monitoring, and communication for continuous improvement and obstacle resolution, should it be needed.
The phases and timelines of this process can vary depending on the size and complexity of your organization, as well as the specific services required. Clear communication and collaboration throughout the transition are critical to its success.
